George DeFalco - Co-Founder

George DeFalco has been involved in design and construction for the past 15 years. Most recently, he was President and Owner of a full service residential architecture firm based in Arlington, VA. The firm specialized in major renovations and additions to older existing housing stock in the Northern Virginia "close-in" communities of Arlington, Mclean and Falls Church. He has held positions as Project Designer and Project Manager for notable architecture firms, and has been practicing architecture since 1993.

Currently he oversees all aspects of design and construction for Tradition Homes. This includes site feasibility, project design, construction management, and quality control. George is a past recipient of the Arlington County Honor Award for Preservation Design and a Fairfax County Merit Award for Interior Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is also certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Syracuse University School of Architecture.

Stephen DeFalco - Co-Founder

Stephen DeFalco has been involved in real estate development in Northern Virginia for the past 10 years. He previously worked for a regional development company in Northern Virginia where he was responsible for overseeing acquisition and strategic sales and leasing of owned projects. Currently Stephen is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the firm with particular emphasis on the firm's financial operations, sales and marketing.

Stephen is a licensed Broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Northern Virginia Building Industry Association as well as the National Association of Home Builders. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Economics.

Office Management

It’s important that your home design and construction process be smooth and successful. To ensure that it is, we have a team of office personnel that manages and tracks massive amounts of details captured in financial, legal, design and construction documents. You can rest assured your project specifications and documents are correctly documented and information is timely delivered to our trade partners to ensure your home is built with the highest standards and on the timeline promised.

Project Management

Our team of project managers is on site, full time, to make sure your home is built to your standards, on time, and within your budget. An experienced project manager is assigned to your home, to watch over every construction detail, manage sub-contractors, monitor quality, ensure safety, meet code requirements, and deliver the finished product exactly as you desired.

General Labor

Our general laborers keep our job sites running smoothly. Whether it’s cleaning the job site, running out for a part or tool, or locking the home at the end of the day, our team of laborers is committed to a safe and efficient construction site.

As a general contractor, we partner with sub-contractors and material suppliers to execute many functions during the construction of your home. Our trade partners include electricians, plumbers, drywallers, framers, tile installers, kitchen counter fabricators, and stone specialists to name a few. These companies are a direct reflection of Tradition Homes, so we hire only the best for our homes and customers.
