In 2006, brothers George and Steve DeFalco knew it was time for something new in the home building industry. Something completely different. Something Northern Virginia home buyers were seeking, but not currently finding, in their quest for a new home that suited their needs and tastes.

“McMansions” were all too prevalent. Arlington, McLean, and Vienna residents watched as their charming, historic neighborhoods were overrun by box-like, cookie-cutter homes built by builders more concerned with overall size than architectural design, quality construction, or the unique needs of today’s families.

So Tradition Homes opened its doors. Now many projects later, the company continues to win the hearts and minds of home owners around the area, and employs a full team of architects, project managers, laborers, quality assurance officers, and office personnel to help its clients build beautiful new homes, designed especially for them.
